It’s rare enough to not be reported, Nvidia offers for a few days of new ForceWare drivers for laptops equipped with a graphics GeForce Go 7800 series, 7900, 7950 and 8700M. These drivers ForceWare Mobile are numbered 167.51, and are still classified as beta by Nvidia. They are intended for configurations.

  • Dell XPS M1710 (7900)
  • Dell XPS M1710 (7950)
  • Sager NP5960 (7900)
  • Sager NP9261 (7950)

The drivers for GeForce Go 7800/7900/7950 are intended only to Windows XP while those for GeForce 8700M are intended only to Windows Vista. If you have modified the operating system preinstalled on your laptop (XP to Vista or vice versa), so you can not take advantage of this new version 167.51.
